9th September 2010: Welcome to new members and discuss possibilities of
holding field meetings. Light-hearted in-house judging of members' little-known masterpieces (3 prints per member)

23rd September 2010: talk and discussion entitled "What makes a good
picture?" by Anne Mahaney ARPS (Fordingbridge CC). Bring some of your work to be analysed

14th October 2010: Print Competition, no set subject. Judge: Maurice
Hammond (Horndean CC), visiting us for the first time.

28th October 2010: "Techniques in Photography", a talk by Martin Western
ARPS. A 'must' for newcomers

11th November 2010: Print Competition: New Forest Towns and Villages".
Judge: Adrian Coles, also visiting us for the first time

25th November 2010: "An Evening with Two Fellows", talk by Tony and
Betty Rackham (both FRPS). Betty was formerly Head of Photography at
Brockenhurst

9th December 2010: Print Competition, no set subject. Judge: Dr Barry
Senior


13th January 2011:
"Faces and Places" (mono digital prints) by Barry
Day ARPS

27th January 2011: Print Competition, theme, no set subject. Judge:
Mrs Alison Cawley LRPS (Southampton CC)

10th February 2011: Sponsored by Fotospeed. Mr Tony Worobiec FRPS
will talk to us about "Black & White Photography in the Digital age"

24th February 2011: Southern Photographic Federation League match
(Time and Venue to be announced)

10th March 2011: Print Competition, Theme: 'Three prints on a Theme of
Your Own Choioce"

24th March 2011: Annual General Meeting, followed by
En-Print Competition and members' Social Evening. You bring the food, the
Club provides the drink

14th April 2011: "Print of the Year" Competition, judged by Charles
Frewin FRPS. The year's trophies will be presented at the end of the evening

Competition Rules

To enable everyone to enjoy competing on equal terms, entrants are grouped in one of three classes according to their levels of skill; Newcomers, Intermediate and Advanced
photographers.

You are promoted from one level to the next as your skills improve
